Why CANSA matters

The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) is a non-profit organisation committed to leading the country towards a cancer-free society. Through funding vital research, public education, advocacy, and support for individuals affected by cancer, CANSA plays a crucial role in improving public health and raising awareness about cancer prevention.

As a CANSA Smart Choice partner, our products have undergone rigorous testing in independent laboratories to meet both South African National Standards (SANS) and international safety standards (ISO). Only products that pass these strict requirements and offer protection against environmental elements that can lead to cancer – such as harmful solar radiation – are awarded the CANSA Smart Choice Seal.

Why this is important to us

Skin cancer is one of the most common and preventable cancers in South Africa. Yet, far too many people  especially children are still being exposed to harmful UV rays without proper protection. There are many sun protection products on the market that don’t live up to their promises, offering poor quality and insufficient UV protection.
